Twenty 20 oversaw the construction phase of this complex and technically challenging conversion and extension of an old existing property into two separate dwellings. The work involved a single and two-storey extension, extensive internal layout changes and major structural alterations. New rooms in the roof were also created with the insertion of complexed cranked portal frame steelwork within the existing roof envelope. This had to be millimetre perfect within a non-perfect out of plumb and square existing structure. The fabric of the existing dwelling was upgraded to exceed current regulations.
